To meet the direct needs of victims and/or significant others at emergency rooms and provide emotional support, offer information, give assistance with identifying appropriate resources, and aid in the problem solving and recovery processes. Travel is required for this position including trips to the SANE Exam Room, the Victim Advocacy training, and Victim Advocacy meetings…

To staff the information booth/table during requested shifts and provide accurate information about Child and Family Services. Volunteers will pass out agency information/parent packets and engage participants to utilize the information being provided (example: Health and Safety Fairs, Agency Fairs, and City/Community Events etc.).

Volunteers are asked to represent Child and Family Services for fundraising events (Strick Out Sexual Assault Bowl-a-Thon and Denim Day). Assist with corporate sponsorship solicitation, action item acquisition and marketing. Volunteers are needed to assist with day of event duties (examples: set-up, registration, selling 50/50).
