Pantry Volunteer Needed

The Agape Center pantry is seeking a volunteer to fill a regular Thursday evening shift. The hours are 5:30 – 7:00 PM. Qualified applicants will submit approval for a background check and must attend a Protecting God’s Children workshop within six months of volunteering.

Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities include: pick up food at the Macomb Food Bank, sort and distribute food in our pantry, provide clerical support, interview clients, and holiday projects.

How you help Volunteers are the most important resource the Agape Center has. We depend on the generosity of volunteers to fulfill our mission of sharing our love and resources with those in need. Our volunteers come from all walks of life: retirees, students, families, teachers, local area farmers, and community leaders.
About us The Agape Center, located in northern Macomb County, exists to help individuals and families who need emergency assistance. Our pantry is stocked with canned goods, meat products, fresh produce and personal care items. In addition to our pantry, the center helps sponsoring churches with clients facing shut-off and eviction notices. Caring volunteers treat everyone with dignity and respect as they navigate the difficult times in life.
