If you enjoy using a computer or sharing information on social media then being a virtual volunteer may be a good fit for you. In this volunteer area, you would use your online and social media skills to share important messages that help create great futures– such as information about Club Member programs, special events, and fundraising needs. In addition, this position will be contacted when BGCML’s major events (Youth of the Year and Great Futures Gala) posters need to be hung in local venues around town.

About us Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore, with the assistance of the Boys and Girls Club of America, implements many tried and proven programs to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential, as productive, caring and responsible citizens. The emphasis of each program is to make learning fun, assist youth with homework or studying, empowering youth to envision their future, and motivating youth to obtain their High School Diploma or GED. We offer daily access to a broad range of programs in five core program areas. BGCML is now serving 460 kids a day in the summer, and an average of 132 a day during the school year. In 2018, BGCML served over 50,000 meals and snacks to these youth. The organization is looking forward to continued sustainability and growth, providing a network of Club sites right in the neighborhoods of the youth who need us most.
