Senior Companion Volunteer

Senior Companion Volunteers serve as advocates, supporters and companions to older adults who are frail and isolated. They connect their clients to the community. Volunteers serve 15+ hours/week assisting isolated and frail seniors. The weekly SC visit assists the seniors to live independently longer in their own home. Transporting and accompanying the seniors to doctor appointments, groceries shopping, completing errands and more.

Classroom Grandparent Volunteer

Foster Grandparent volunteers serve as role models, mentors, and tutors to children in need. They provide guidance to children at a critical time in their lives. Volunteers serve 15+ hours/week with children who need assistance at schools, Head Start, daycare, YMCA, summer camp and youth organizations. Helping children in your community with reading, writing, language, motor skills and self-esteem by being a consistent weekly mentor
