The Delta County Historical Society is in need of volunteers for various projects that are in the planning stages. These projects may include painting, cleaning, filing, researching topics, building docents along with various other tasks. None would require any long-term commitment.

| About us |
The Delta County Historical Society was founded in 1948. The primary objective of this newly formed non-profit organization was to collect local historical materials, preserve them, and present this information to the citizens of Delta County to make them more fully aware of the area's rich past. Today the Delta County Historical Society is proud to operate its museum, archives and Sand Point Lighthouse for locals and visitors alike. Through these sites, we hope to continue to collect, preserve and educate Delta County's history for generations to come. After all, appreciation of our past plays a significant role in shaping our future. |
