How you help From training and mentoring to transportation assistance and hiring events, we are an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit community initiative that provides employment-related services to help open the doors to meaningful employment for Veterans and their families.
About us Hire MI Vet is a non-profit community initiative that provides employment-related services to help open the doors to meaningful employment for Veterans and their families. Hire MI Vet collaborates with other Veteran groups to provide Networking events that connect employers with Veterans in an informal and interactive setting. The mentorship program provides individualized career readiness support for Veterans, focusing on resumes, cover letters, networking, interviewing, elevator speech, and job search assistance. Hire MI Vet invites Veteran-friendly employers to a hiring event that is open to all Veterans and their families.
