Child Care Volunteer

We currently offer morning, afternoon and evening time slots for childcare. This enables our clients to job hunt, search for housing, take a nap and simply get a break. Interact and play with the children.

This will be decided on a case by case basis and coordinated with your schedule and that of our clients. School age children could benefit from your help during the day with online teaching. Homework help can happen in the evenings. What will I do: Reading books to children – story time; Helping with homework; Helping with online schoolwork; Playing; or Tutoring.

Food Service Volunteer

Our clients just need authentic friends. When serving a meal, you may: Help with last minute meal prep and room set up; Politely interact with guests as they come through the food line and fill their plates with food; As the line dies down, you are encouraged to join our clients at the meal table and interact with them; Help with minimum clean up, as necessary. Meal Friend’s simply come in and eat a meal with us and interact with clients. No agenda other than to use the meal as an excuse to interact and love on people.
