McLaren Macomb Volunteer

Here are just a few of the important tasks that a volunteer can do: greet our patients with a smile and escort them to their destination. get a blanket for a patient who is feeling cold, visit our patients and offer them some "comfort care" items, comfort family members, or support our staff by performing various clerical duties. Volunteers must be 18 years old, available a minimum of 4 hours a week, able to commit to at least one year of volunteering, and pass a background check. Orientation and training will be provided.

About us McLaren Macomb is a 288-bed tertiary teaching hospital located in Mount Clemens, Michigan. McLaren Macomb provides a full range of services, including cardiovascular care at the Mat Gaberty Heart Center, award winning cancer services at the Ted B. Wahby Cancer Center, comprehensive orthopedic services and a state-of-the-art elective Surgery Center. The hospital is verified as a Level II Trauma Center and operates one of the busiest Emergency Centers in the area.
