#OTD in 1909, the first Hudson car came out of a small factory in Detroit. The Model 20 (pictured) sported a 4-cylinder, 22.5 hp engine, and its popularity led Hudson to the best 1st year of production in auto history at the time, selling over 4,000 units. #ThisDayInAutoHeritage
#OTD in 1924, John Riccardo, former @Chrysler CEO, was born. He led Chrysler through part of the devastating 1970s, saving the company from record losses and its potential doom. Riccardo (pictured w/Lee Iacocca) joined Chrysler’s financial division in 1959. #ThisDayInAutoHeritage

#OTD in 2005, the final @Ford Thunderbird was produced in Wixom, MI. The T-bird was initially Ford's response to @Chevrolet’s Corvette. After being unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in 1954, over 16,000 T-birds were sold in its 1st year of production. #ThisDayInAutoHeritage
