Advocacy

PEAC students have been on boards related to accessibility for the Regional Transit Authority (RTA), the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG), and other committees related to transportation and accessibility. Every year, students attend one day events for advocacy like the League of Michigan Bicyclists’ Bicycle & Trail Advocacy Day. Through advocacy, students work to create more accessible communities where various modes of transportation and infrastructure are provided.
