Horse Feeding and Barn Cleaning

Morning feeds are around 8 am. Evening feeds are around 5 pm. Horse experience is helpful, but not a must. We will train you. Cleaning chores can be done around 9-11 noon.

Side-walkers and Horse Leaders

People are needed to sidewalk for our various programs such as: Grand Traverse Horses 4 Heroes (All Phases), Hippotherapy, and Therapeutic Riding Programs and Lessons.

How you help The ranch is a busy place with lots of year-round activity. Whether you are a Veteran or just want to help. We need your help to make this place a success. Our volunteers offer services and talents that benefit the ranch. There are many ways to use your talent, profession or passion to benefit the work of Reining Liberty Ranch. The to-do list is long and active. We welcome Volunteers.
About us Reining Liberty Ranch offers community based programs that serve Veterans, their families, and other disabled/at-risk individuals within the Grand Traverse Community. The ranch programs focus on the horse-human relationship and include Relational Horsemanship, Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy, Equine Facilitated Learning and agricultural activities. Through these programs and activities, participants have the opportunity to connect with others facing similar challenges. The Ranch is the catalyst for healing through building relationships, mentorship opportunities, interaction and reintegration within our community.
