Ways to help |
Community VolunteerAny person and/or group that provides service through donations, fundraising, or time spent doing a one-time project. This may include such things as seasonal decorating, planting flower beds, making cookies, etc.Event VolunteerMany hands make light work. Our development director is always seeking volunteers to assist with carrying out the details of planning and implementing our events. This opportunity perfect for creative individuals and/or those for whom its fun to generate excitement and enthusiasm in others.Advocate VolunteerAssists with providing comfort to anxious and distressed children before/after their interview. When child abuse investigators are meeting with the children’s parents, children will be supervised by this volunteer. Activities include reading, art projects, puzzles, etc.Masters Level InternMasters level counseling and social work students who require practicum experience may volunteer at the Center. They will be supervised by TBCAC staff and offsite school practicum advisers.Facility VolunteerAssists with facility maintenance and cleaning, yard maintenance, snow removal, etc. This volunteer service can be on-going or on an as-needed basis. |
