Volunteers sort and stock shelving so the Neighbor’s Choice Pantry is always full and has a variety of items available.

Basic computer work – data entry, writing thank you letters, using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Volunteers sign up individuals for a Holiday Grocery Basket and / or Toys for Tots.

Volunteers drive either the box truck or van to pick up food goods from a variety of manufacturers, agencies and churches; drivers are needed 7 days a week.

Volunteers spend time with other individuals to discuss, plan and execute certain plans and events.

Volunteers help to unload, organize, package, and distribute food for families in the community.

Are you a gardener ready to co-lead one of our one and a half hour harvesting sessions? We run Leadership Training quarterly and you will be matched with experienced co-leaders.

Help us harvest the garden from June to the end of September. Children under 18 are allowed only when accompanied by a parent or responsible adult or parent. Thursdays 6:30 – 8:00 in season

Volunteer at the food pantry. Volunteers carry pre-packed bags to cars in drive thru, perform data entry using client registration forms and helping our walking guests, place food items into bags and tie bags closed, unload delivery truck using conveyor system and stock tables, and more. Shifts include Fridays (food deliveries and sorting) and Saturdays…

We welcome your help but we want to help you plan for your group. The pantry works best with groups of 5-8 volunteers at a time. We do not accept volunteers younger than 14 years old.
