Resident Advocate

Volunteers will be assisting staff to meet the needs of shelter clients. This can include light cleaning, organizing, working in the kitchen/pantry, transportation, providing referrals and providing support for staff. When working with the families and women in shelter you may be providing crisis intervention, referrals and information as well. Our shelter houses women and their children and working in this setting provides a diverse volunteer experience.
