Being a foster based rescue we are always in dire need of caring animal lovers to foster dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. D.A.W.G. pays for all expenses except for you’re love, which cannot be bought, but given.

Help us harvest the garden from June to the end of September. Children under 18 are allowed only when accompanied by a parent or responsible adult or parent. Thursdays 6:30 – 8:00 in season

We welcome your help but we want to help you plan for your group. The pantry works best with groups of 5-8 volunteers at a time. We do not accept volunteers younger than 14 years old.

Part of the charm of our location is the beautiful gardens surrounding the Museum. These are maintained by our volunteers. Anyone with a passion for gardening is welcome to join in.

Feeding cats and providing companionship and care. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.

Do you have time to be apart of our events? We need volunteers to bake, spend time at events doing set ups, break downs, serving and more. Do you have an idea for an event? Visit us and we will be happy to hear your ideas.

Fostering cats in your home. If you can provide a wonderful, temporary home for cats and kittens, FCS also uses foster homes for cats.

Help out at D-Town Farm. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied and monitored by a responsible adult. D-Town Farm serves as a site for court mandated and school related community service. Volunteer days are Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – noon and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. – noon, beginning the third…
