The drivers will be persons who ensure the patients and advocates are transported to the transplant center for transplant-related activities. Recommended skills: flexibility (able to give 2-3 day blocks of time where you may be called to drive), good driving record.

The advocates will be persons who listen fervently. Recommended skills: excellent listening skills, good note taking, good time management and attention to details, compassion, time flexibility to be away for 3-5 days and then scheduled 1-day commitments for clinic appointments, weekly for first 4 weeks, then bi-weekly for another 4-8 weeks.

The Iron County Coordinate Community Response Team and Gogebic County Task Force is formed by key community agencies (DOVE, law enforcement, health care providers, prosecuting attorney, etc.) to promote the prevention/education of domestic and sexual violence and enhance victim safety and offender accountability.

The volunteer may assist with office procedures. Shopping and Maintenance: The volunteer may assist for food and other supplies for clients, and shelter repair, clean, and hazard control.

The volunteer must be trained by a counselor in support group procedures in order to successfully co-facilitate.

The volunteer may work directly with the children. Childcare is provided to clients so they may attend support groups and counseling appointments.
