Volunteers are used to assist with several types of emergencies/disasters including floods, tornados, large fires, as well as events that may be chemical, biological, explosive, radiological, or nuclear in nature.
The volunteer assists the client with transportation to meetings, appointments, school, court, etc. The volunteer also may assist moving victims into their own home.
The volunteer may assist with fundraising events such as the color run, the yearly raffle, and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Occasional landscaping, building maintenance, and miscellaneous odd-jobs.
Here’s a list of specific volunteer services: Tree pruning, Gutter cleaning, Lawn services, Machine Operators, Field instructors, Concrete pouring/framework, Stump removal, Trash cleanup.
Donate your labor of love hours to the cause of empowering communities.
Cuddling and socializing cats, walking dogs, bathing animals, assisting with adoption and vaccination events, assisting with transports, taking photos for the Facebook and Pet Adoption pages, washing crates, and assisting with laundry are all examples of ways to help.
